I think they are doing this to faze out the old computers, as my friend said end of life for windows 7 is in January. In my department at least, some people have very old CPU’s no?
Yes they took inventory at my location as well. Wasnt sure why they were doing it or what it meant at the time. Now I know.
My old laptop has been sitting in a drawer for almost a year, and no one has ever come looking for it.
They did that to us months ago. Only a handful of people were let go. Nothing to see here.... Ya right. We keep hearing the rumor of December, yet we have an all hands on meeting with people we have never heard of on Wednesday. Maybe scissors for us.
Have you ever seen the computer system that keeps track of all the equipment? It can barely keep track of the time let alone give an accurate report on inventory.
