Too many of us are being laid off and replaced by millennials, so I'd say it's on topic.
Over the past few years, I've seen more millennials laid off here than any other generation of worker. Then, most of the older folk (middle aged plus) took the VSP, so all that's left at this point are a few Genx and Millennials.
We haven't replaced/hired a single person and are 25% of the workforce we were before the mass layoffs began (from ~120 to about 35 people).
They are reducing the workforce, not replacing people with millennials.
Most millennials don’t stay too long in one job. I joined the company as a college hire a few years ago. 7/10 of millennials who were hired around the same time quit and found other jobs.
What type of millennial dreams of working for Verizon? You'd have to be a sick masochist
