- Business Integration: Very poor integration of the businesses that were acquired to form Watson Health.
- Business Knowledge: Not sure IBM executives truly understand health care.
- Bureaucracy: IBM is extremely bureaucratic, far worse than any company I've been a part of.
- Overhead: Administrative overhead makes it extremely difficult to get your job done.

Watson Health. You had one job. Out perform the current infrastructure. You failed. The failure was kinda spectacular given the publicity of the failure. How is it that Google behind the scenes makes hay, and you fail. Better management, better goals, better hiring, more motivated employees, smarter researchers, better acquisitions, a company that has a game plan? I believe it all boils down to management and having a focus on a goal. IBM used to do innovation. Now it just shuffles money results be damned. Hell of a management strategy Ginni. Hell of a strategy

The only group selling anything is Merge. Sadly Merge is stuck in a zero growth market fighting for replacement business with an aging product and mediocre support. Their survival to date is thanks to laziness by companies like Philips, GE and Fuji.
At some point they will sc-ap the whole thing.
The BOD... what is the BOD made of?
- CEOs or former CEOs who provide(d) the exact same non-sense management that Ginni
- Executives at Funds or private equity firms that owns IBM shares and love its dividend
They are also all overpaid to be on the BOD so they know better to shut up since Ginni is the President!
Another failed IBM “strategic imperative “. How many billions will the old and negligent board of directors allow Ginni to waste? What a sham.
All of Watson AI was a swing/miss not just Watson health.
Keep working on those IBM badges, they're really important.
You missed out the most important thing. The solution itself. It didn't actually work - at least not for the treatment of Oncology. Despite claims made by IBM to the contrary.
