I feel for everyone here who is frustrated — whether it’s being forced to come back into the office, the lack of recognition, the company politics, or the small (and sometimes non-existent) raises, I’m sure people are feeling exhausted, drained, and often unappreciated. That said, if life is so miserable at the bank, why do people stay? I read posts about people who want to quit, but they don’t. I read posts about people who say they would be treated better at other companies, but they don’t leave. There are so many opportunities outside the bank, so I’m curious as to why people complain and talk about leaving, but stay. I’m purely asking out of curiosity.
