Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

N----rians Striking

N—rian workers on strike against a Chevron facility. Yawn, what else is new? Oil production is effected, but not enough to cause any significant earnings damage. Who knows how long this will last? Wake me up when it is over.

I don’t understand strikes. You don’t work then you don’t get paid. Mark it in SAP as AWOL. You’ll probably get more done without them in your way, from what I’ve seen in the ones that come to the US. They’re passionate but incompetent.

They always go on strike near long holiday weekends. Around Eid is another popular strike window of opportunity.

Truth is that productivity is not affected one bit with local employees striking and management will cave to their demands as normal.
Quite a disgusting practice.
