What do the innovation centres really do????

can anyone explain as have been offered a role which looked ideal but what actually goes on seems to be hot air. insights, and help please.

Waste of time if you are looking to drive innovation - these centres are pre-sales marketing initiatives with the aim of engaging with startups to make Cisco appear relevant with the latest ‘tech de jour’. As soon as the ‘marketing juice’ has been extracted from the project, they move on. Having worked with the UK team, NC & MH are certainly not innovators...more project managers

Mostly used car salesmen. Cisco innovation centers utilize the same culture as the Chevrolet dealership in Santa Clara.
