Anniston announcement was going to be made in October for a June 2020 closing but due to cost bleeding from other site closures it was postponed. Company s—ing all the work they can get out of Anniston employees during Q4 2019. Expect announcement soon that all your hard work was just to get your doors closed sooner. Happy Holidays. Honeywell is the worst company to work for.

Its a fact that the announcement was supposed to have occurred on Oct 8th. Why the project stopped and announcement canceled, I have no idea.
Reasoning mentioned in this thread seems reasonable though. The transitions occurring with other sites have been quite a cluster and I can see it causing a delay on other site closure announcements that are in the plan.
Be interesting to see if the announcement does occur in Q1
Posting "real" proof would violate NDA. Can't blame anyone.
1st quarter will be interesting.
You know, this site is a valuable resource for info on the company. And you keep mucking it up with nonsense like all these "Argghhhh, Anniston is Closing" posts.
Is Honeywell on a site-consolidation spree? Yes. Could Anniston be closed? Sure. Do you have any insider knowledge? It sure as heck seems doubtful, based on all the previous "predictions" made on this site.
If you have some real proof of a coming closure, post it here. Otherwise, quit making stuff. You just generate a lot of useless noise with your unsubstantiated rumors.
Disgraceful how far we have fallen. No one in control (all outside of Anniston's puppets) could care less. Move product, make The Man money while he schedules our unemployment date. Hit one target, he will raise it higher next week. This has been a nightmare for far too long. NOTHING has been done to control this mess. Why are they worried about who is posting on this website? LoL Everyone in the industry is aware of what is happening in Anniston. The big ole cat jumped out of his bag a long time ago and he won't be going back in. Meow, Meow.
It's been very obvious that Anniston at some point soon will be closing. Not one shred of hope has been provided in 2019. Get yourself out of there and only look back to help your friends get out. The economy is strong and there is no excuse to stay in that cesspool. The glory days in Anniston have ended...forever. Stand up and pursue something better. Don't wait to be unemployed after they have used you to hit their financial goals.
Darius was quite clear on earnings calls. He expects 50% total roof top reduction over the next 5 years. For manufacturing sites, office sites, and R&D. Those statements by Darius are facts
What is secret is timing and which sites are impacted...... a few are now public but there will be more each year
Hey 1epi , go troll somewhere else.
M & D may want to close Anniston, but there's too much work and not enough people in Tempe to get it done. Sure it's been discussed ad nauseam. Do you know how many times over how many years there has been discussion about closing Tucson, Urbana, Rocky Mount, etc., etc. Give it a rest.
Well if this is misinformation then someone please explain the massive amount of new manufacturing space that was just created in Tempe? 6 months of construction work and thousands of square feet cleared out in the 1201's second floor. It's there, not a rumor. Employees here in Tempe can see for themselves and when management is asked what the area is for they can't explain...Hmmm
So happens I do. But that’s okay. Time will tell.
- whp: Nope, not a troll or have anything to do with Honeywell HR. I simply recognize a BS post from someone that has no inside info on whether a site is slated to be closed or not.
Sounds like you’re a troll for HR trying to squash truth when it’s posted.
OK Boomer.
