The bigger they are, the harder they fall...market collapse expected this year

It will be interesting to see what happens later this year with the market collapse. All they can talk about is their stock price They've shot themselves in the feet, but I suppose the decision makers with golden parachutes could care less. Get out of the stock market if you haven't already. Prepare for war, and worse.

I like reading MarketWatch everyday. They devote an entire spread to insider trading. It’s so awesome 😎 to see our top brass cashing in millions of dollars in stocks (at the peak) Wichman, 14 mill . Then us little mud people scratching it out at bottom for peanuts 🥜:
1/2% percent annual raise per year which no one will see in 2020

What market collapse? Are you Nostradamus? If anything a dip in the market is the best time to buy more stock.

There have been players preaching UHG collapse for over 25 years. There were times I thought the financials were a house of cards and sold. I'm not sure who writes these "collapse" stories, but I suspect something other than altruism.

IF there is a meaningful correction, UHG will dip on a market pull back as it is a part of many funds, etfs, and the DJIA. But it is also considered a defensive stock during pullbacks and will perform better relatively to many others. If you are so confident please short the SPY with your life savings starting tmrw.

It is not possible to predict the stock market. Upper management has all of these separate streams of revenue. They are now intricately intertwined with Government interests like the Dialysis Act. It is the nasty ornery acts that will do them in. If all of these jobs have gone to overseas call centers and data centers, watch out. If they lose their data in some hostile country, they are sunk. All of these Government Contracts have strict performance metrics with built in penalties. This is an Accountant’s View of Healthcare. They are very weak in understanding the providers and the customers. The labor force is inefficient because of intimidation. The customers are ready to dump them because of poor service. Those are the risks. The acquired businesses were never properly integrated. They rewarded the malefactors. Those are all risks going forward. Optum is probably not the technology powerhouse that they represent. Listen to the way they treat the really smart analysts on the earnings conference call. It is all intimidation.

Or Medicare for all, or some version of that.
