I was a Field Services tech for Macy's for 8 years before NCR took over and made the mistake of rolling over with NCR. I witnessed a pathetic transaction.
The NCR techs new very little of what was required of them in their Macy's SAMM manual.
For example my NCR Team Lead who had been with NCR for 12 years before NCR took on the Macy's account did not even know what the Power Injector was for an Access Point not what the PBX was for.
They passed up hire my two Macy's Tech co-workers only to hire people who with NO technical experience to go in those stores and try to do that job.
It made me sick do I resigned my position with NCR and I am a happier person for it.
