They are bringing back the old days of trying to coach people out of a job. Sounds like clearing some head count. Funny thing is they can't get anyone to do our job... So what's the plan fire everyone for performance as the ship is sinking. Great job Verizon

NYM, I think it's Executive Director iniated, and if the Dm takes the iniative and will run with it, it's directed at the 2 lowest reps at a location in a given month, and if you achieve the $1,400 + commission goal. So 4 bad months in A 6 month period, you're gone. Now with the " Voice" survey you're job will be judged by The general public that enters the store, so don't get anything below an 8 , so with these 2 processes will create a wonderful work environment and there goes " set up phone content at home"

If the new PIP doesn't get you the " Voice customer survey will " I don't know the criteria on how it will be implemented, but don't get many below 8 or 9 out 10 because the write ups will start, thus 3 bad months of surveys on the " Customer " Experience " in the store( which is a joke) , you're gone.So now you're being judged by the General Public that walk in your store. Remember, store management is not judged by the same standards. They are thinking of everything on how to getrid of the people helping their customers and explaining their lousy policies , fees etc. to the them. So it seems that they don't really want to get out of retail, they want too stay with less store and staff. Verizon has cheapened your job. get out now or smile and do everything that the person in Front of you asks and even then he co give you a 5 cause he doesn't give a sh- t about you.

I left Verizon and I don't hate going to work anymore. Funny how that works. But seriously Verizon treats its employees like sh–. Do yourselves a favor and leave

No you don't have to sign , and believe me, don't sign it. However, it doesn't go away and is put in your file. You get 3 then the fourth is for termination. And don't kid yourself they'll find someone to replace you even at part time status.But, remember the store managers are not under the same standards you are. They are only let go if they are not liked.

Anyone can do our job. Back in the old days it was almost 2 months training. Now you only need a week. YOU ARE ALWAYS REPLACEABLE!!! Even if they close a bunch of store and rehire everyone, they will still be fine and the company will just make more and more money. They don’t NEED you to keep the business going. So if you want a job at Verizon then you’re just going to have to work harder to keep it...
