Has anyone noticed many if not all engineers from what was previously L3 have either been retiring or finding new positions within industry? It seems everyone is fleeing L3Harris similar to the end of SpaceBalls, a popular 1987 film.....

L3 is not highly regarded anymore by anyone with a quality engineering education. Once a great company. Now it's a dump.
I don't think it was that popular of a film.
Come to Lockheed, everything is better here!!!
I resigned from the Narda-Miteq division in Hauppauge. NO engineering, NO new product development, NO R&D. All signs of a dying technology company, so I left.
There's also a new dynamic in the work force where people are willing to change jobs fairly quickly... used to be you didn't want to move after at least two years; now, two years is a long time to stay at one place.
The old L3 is a way different culture than the new L3H.. so not surprising. it remains to be seen if the replacement engineers and others who clearly chose to be in the new L3H can get up to speed. Everyone f'd over by the cube wants to see the newco crater but it probably won't...
Some location have been hiring many engineers.
