Guess it was true. I gained hours as a minimum hour store.
I been told we are moving to RX hours and hours are being cut. Strange thing that only my store moving to RX hours but we are not the smallest store in our district but we will be after the store hours are cut. I am waiting to see. You never truly know until the new year hits.
I love how out hours get increased for the Cos reset...the problem is we have no one to schedule those hours for ya mo–ns!!
Below min hours here too. Next year I do have a slight increase (about 8) in hours for weeks 1-10. That’s as far out as I’ve been sent. That is not including the 75 I’m allotted for cosmetics.
I didn’t include cosmetic resets. Plus the hours for cosmetics drop in the last weeks of January not the first.
Don’t forget first week of January you have valentines to be set 100% 2,3&4th is cosmetic. Resets. That’s why you have an increase in hours for January after that cut backs. In March All HELL breaks loose!
My store is minimum -25 hours. We have 154 this year. Budgets that my DL sent me show a new budget of 174 for first week of January. Then I go down to 167 once my hours change to RX hours change Jan 12. We do 17-22k a week. So a very decent increase - but much needed.
Can we get some example of sales volume and current hours and the amount increase to get an idea of the type of increase we may possibly get?
There is justified cynicism to a supposed payroll hours increase. But there is a lot of pressure on corporations in 2020 to recognize employee frustration and accommodate. Websites like this keep big wigs “up at night”... remember? Pressure on Wall Street is extremely high... the difference now, is that pressure is not just coming from shareholders. (See Business Roundtable commitment.) That said, company’s still find loop holes. The fear of shareholder revolt is much stronger than weak employee engagement.
3500/wk 24 hour store currently with ~15 overlap hours. We’ll deconvert you and after the first quarter, you’ll only have 98 hours for the 98 you are open..makes perfect sense!
was confirmed today pharmacist hours cut. Say bye to any and all overlap everyone.
If it was true, why would they have uploaded the data and turned on the 2020 budget link? Seems they wouldn’t have turned on the link if these weren’t true (although, I know how screwed up things are every year).
I'm a DL and was told these budgets are not finalized yet. if the rph were changing that much there would be layoffs and that process would have started already so what every you are seeing now is not accurate
But all the pharmacist overlap is going away...! Seriously, its bad. I don’t even want to tell my teams.
These are in no way guarenteed to stay. Don't believe it until you see it. Happens alot when budgets look good and then they get cut.
That was quick. I’m a DL and just received the info this morning but was told we can’t share it until that week publishes in mySchedule. But yes I can confirm, at least in my district, the FS are receiving a bump in hours - even the ones that are moving to RX hours.
