Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

BNY “PropagandaNet”

Instead of sharing candidly written employee posts on the corporate intranet home page, they are now displaying only ‘nice articles.’ They aren’t brave enough to let employees share what’s really on their minds with other employees.

This is likely an attempt to prevent embarrassing threads such as the work-from-home thread (which got way more views than their corporate business babble articles).

They fear employee organization in any form.

Those ‘naive’ people who were brave enough to speak out against the no-work-from-home policy attempt via the corporate intranet are responsible for reverting the WFH policy to what it was. They helped everyone by speaking up. I applaud them.

Who is dumb enough to share candid thoughts on the company on the internal site anyway????? Anyone who thinks it wouldn’t be noticed and counted against you (unofficially, of course) is terribly naive.
