No, and they are supposed to be a technical manager. To make matters worse we are in no position to support the "future" tech (it's present tech for everyone in the real world). So when our VP gets wind of the "new" buzzwords, such as eBPF, we will be forced to pull double duty to bone up and educate the leadership as well.

Yes in my current group.

And NO in the group I moved from last year. My prior manager only cared about playing the game upwards and was total dunderhead otherwise. Glad I moved!
