Nor’easter

So with this impending storm in NYC Sunday into Monday...if one slated for the chopper is WFH what happens? Fired via phone? Cut off access etc?

I got a phone call at home to lay me off. I also had to pay for a public notary to sign my sub papers and had to pay to ship my laptop back to my boss. These people are a$$holes. No morals. Get the F out.

Last year they called a colleague at his mother’s death bed to let him go. Doesn’t matter if you are here or not.

your execution will be in a private cell via conference room on a different floor so the other inmates won't see the mess. Make sure to bring your jacket when they ask you to meet them. That's exactly how it goes down in a POW camp and in BNY

I'm pretty sure I am on "the list" for 12/2. The only thing worse than being shown the door is driving through a snowstorm to the office and then being shown the door. I will be sitting by the fire in the comfort of my home awaiting their call. An additional bonus is I wont have to my "execution" in the public square thanks to our open office workspace.

They do it over the phone, in fact it’s probably easier for them not having to look you in the eye.

that's like asking "what if the power goes out?" when you're on death row on the way to the electric chair

Don’t worry, they’ll still get you. They have zero problem picking up the phone
