This week is a pay week. It should be interesting to see if there are any RIF's this week. They had them last year at this time before Christmas and the other Holidays

I am hearing that there will be some layoffs in December, but not sure what area. Also heard that layoffs will continue in 2020.
Yes, no matter what AIG does, the one thing that is consistent is that the stock continues to decline. It ended up at 51 today. Pathetic!
Next year should be big at getting out of certain divisions. Personal lines, WC, Middle Market, some Property and some financial lines. They will have to do this slowly because it is alot of premium to get off the books. They will also start to close smaller office. Work at home. This will depend on contracts with buildings. Stock price is still not going up after all they have done. Interesting.
I expect a drip drip of layoffs in different areas as next year they assume decreasing costs. Only way to do it is by layoffs. Don't worry though, senior management will still get theirs. Would not expect much if any raises for next year, either.
Yes, I heard that there will be rifs the next 2 weeks. AIG needs the 4th quarter earnings boost as their stock is sinking fast!!
