Ahh sh–, Joe is being let go?? No, not Joe!
“Joe, our records show you have been in too many meetings and left before 6pm every night. You have also sent emails to your friends outside the company. We are going to have to let you go.”
If that analytics isn't shared with management then it's a personal thing. But what are the odds that it will be compiled, analyzed and used to make layoff decisions?
It says
“Your Office 365 account now includes MyAnalytics, a way to discover how you work”
Includes a link to your dashboard that shows how much time you spend in meetings, chats, and how many emails you have read and sent. Then shows graphs of how much time you spent on collaboration and who you collaborate with
What does the email say? Usual corporate double-speak about efficiency and maximizing shareholder value?
Big brother monitoring is starting. Received an email about MyAnalytics. They are tracking emails, meetings, chat usage with this Microsoft product.
Well, it sounds like Fiserv is going down the sh– hole, and 2020 will reveal just how bad.
Those articles are old but spot on to what has happen at First Data and what will happen at Fiserv. I met cavicchia a few years ago when he was touring FD properties. He is a typical NJ/NY crony, although an otherwise unremarkable person. At the time I had not seen those articles, but I knew I wouldn't trust the him.
What is really sad as a FD employee coming to Fiserv, I and many colleagues thought we'd be getting away from all this. We honestly believed that Fiserv would come in and restore a sense of trust and engagement to the employees. Yes, we thought Fiserv would be a good change for us...So you can imagine how disappointed we are now, knowing that FB and team are transforming Fiserv into FD.
It was, it is and it will become pretty much sums this topic up. Oh shoot Palantir is running -ugh.
Just conjecture. When Fiserv took on First Data's debt of about $20 billion, the bankers took over. Just a guess, Frank B. will be their guy to make cuts and get the money like a corporate raider while focusing on "cash flow". Just a guess.
The new crew coming from FD are aggressive Wall Street types. Nothing in Brookfield can stop getting walked over.
You guys are right on target here writing as a former First Data person. Phone monitoring, keystroke monitoring with Sapience, and on and on... Matching badge swipe data to keyboard action to PTO entries and on and on... Stock bonuses per SEC filings at end of FDC time we're unbelievable for senior execs. Hoping Fiserv is not First Data but it sounds as if Fiserv is about to be assimilated. Resistance may be futile.
Nice, so the pump and dump has already started. That didn't take long.
$FISV On 2019-11-27 Chiarello Guy (Chief Administrative Officer) disposed of 30,000 (9.2%) shares at $115.96/share for a total of $3,478,800 (Sale) - SEC Form 4
Merry Christmas

This is the kind of guy needed at Fiserv?
Jeff handed over responsibility to Frank to do the dirty work. I bet the bankers put some big requirements on the deal.
And if you leave voluntarily the company pays you no $$$$ in severance. Going to get a lot worse before it gets better.
The article is making rounds within Fiserv, eh, First Data and if this is not a warning to staff to exit the place, nothing will suffice. And do not forget that First Data was a Henry Kravis, KKR, company too for a while. Slash, burn and cut. I am out and glad to be so.
Not just a leader but the leader in charge of integrating the 2 companies. FD culture will take over. It already is.
First Data is now fiserv.
Horrified that this is a “leader” at fiserv. This man will screw a great company and a great place to work
WOW!! That's all I have - at a total loss for words.
