In 2009 when Aero stopped paying overtime to the engineers, they only suspended the policy. They did not eliminate the policy. Has anyone asked MM if he is going to bring it back or if they are going to officially eliminate it? I think we need to press them on this.

3uca: That's where you're wrong, mate. Maintal is bad example, it's Germany. Germany is western Europe, those guys are as expensive as you Americans are. But some countries are so cheap that even with the few bucks for the paid OT they are cheaper than you. And the OT helps Honeywell luring people from another companies, because small companies don't pay OT, only corporates do. And corporate employees don't lift a finger without paid OT, only losers in small companies do.
Think of it this way, Hon has an unlimited pay policy, similar to the unlimited vacation policy. You can earn as much as you want and take as much vacation as you want, as long as it is within the limits of the old policy.👍
I stopped working all OT when they eliminated WFH. 8 per day then I drop my tools and go enjoy life. Has had no affect on performance reviews, raises, and resulted in no feedback/warning from management.
I’ve seen EO once on a special program that was severely behind. They lost the program anyways and the VP was demoted. Probably demoted for handing out OT checks not because of the program failure. The replacement will not make the same mistake.
LMAO "Has anyone asked MM if he is going to bring it back"
Did you use a charge number to post this?
Any country that requires overtime to be paid is on the list of site closures for sure. Ask maintal
This only affects you sheeps in US. We all outside US have our overtimes payed, no one here would lift a finger without getting paid. You Americans have built your country on capitalism, so now enjoy it ;-)
Some of you all just need to actually work a solid 8 hours.
Waah - join all the other functions/employees who put in overtime now with no additional pay. Don't like it? Leave - like so many former employees have done.
Stop doing free work
But, how?
Stop doing free work. No pay, no play. No tiki, no laundry. Simple!
If you can be persuaded, convinced or coerced into doing 'something' undesirable or uncomfortable, then you are essentially weak and deserve to be exploited. So, don't give away your power and control and hold your position.
If they threaten non-verbally or indirectly to fire you, then they are going to do it either way. So, all you are doing is losing your balance and dignity by caving in.
These men wear pants the same way as any other human being. They don't have any extra-senses, limbs or special powers that make them different from you. So, stick to the agreement and fulfill your obligations and hold people accountable for their obligations.
You choice, your life, your decision—you deal with your own consequences and reality!
We just need to stop doing overtime. Problem solved.
