Some of it goes straight to the garbage. Some goes home with the tms. Some goes to prepared food to be sold as freshly made.
That stuff all goes to the food bank. Help those in need. Who cares if a multi billion dollar company does stupid things with their money/product. At least some hungry people and animals get free food, water and hygiene products.
That is so true especially before a Walk. We would have to build huge displays with product that didn’t sell because the colors in the packaging would compliment the space and be “eye catching “. After the Walk most all of the product would be spoiled out due to short shelf life. Regional would love the display, kudos to STL, money wasted on too much undesirable product . Window dressing is what that is called. Doesn’t generate sells though.
Having the display look full is more important spoilage is an after thought if the displays don’t look good.
