The layoff is moving toward middle management now. Folks who do the actual work enjoy your BE, it's means nothing, keep focusing on what you do. There are people who are still here with 5-7 times BE. This is to show upper management to prove that the managers have done their part during the assessment, but they will make an excuse to protect you if you are a good networker even though you are not a hard worker.
