There is hardly anyone at HE anymore. Cheap Holiday buffet brunch of scrambled eggs and pancakes offered for next Wednesday. Potlucks in the remaining departments a couple of days later.
Who is paying the light bill? Who is paying the water bill? How does the waterfall keep working, even on a Saturday?? HE is just an empty shell. It's over.

Eddie is incompetent. I bet Jeff Bezos could do a better job turning the company around then a thin-skinned man named Eddie.
Also at HE, I recall they used to have holiday decorations, nicely decorated trees, displays, etc but as of this week, just a couple lights wrapped around the trees near the terrace cafe. When I went down to get some coffee earlier in the week, the atrium was empty. I know a lot of folks work from home and are on vacation ... but it was rather eerie to see it this empty. Back in the 90's they used to have a nice holiday luncheon. It was so crowded they had several serving times for each building. But, that's when we had like 5,000 employees there, now, it's got to be ... maybe 500 or 600? If they shut down A&E service ... that was one reason customers bought from Sears, they could get Sears service on their appliances, tractors, etc.... do not understand that.... Seeking Alpha said last month that Eddie was going to wrap up the BK in December... maybe that is what is happening now. I got a letter saying Cobra was going to be stopped for the 'old' company.

I’m amazed the confidence when the company laid off so many of those “winners” in August and again last month. The company is long past the phase where they’re cutting dead weight — the people being impacted have been critical to the business, and since I left last month I’ve seen the repercussions when going in the stores.
There are four people TransformCo cares about, and if your name isn’t Edward, Gregory, Robert, or Leena, you’re not one of them.
