Who in there right mind thinks these One Day Events are exciting. The only people who I can honestly think that it is exciting is the ones who do not have to deal with all the members and the chaos it creates. Just maybe if there was enough people to get it set up and just maybe if they would bring in extra people to fix the club back it wouldn’t be so bad. Nothing like trying to put a club back together, unloading 2 to 3 DC trailers and getting out anywhere close to 11:30 at night. Maybe just maybe they might want to try just sending one DC trailer on event days but that would just be to simple.

I wa sin charge of setting up the DODE. When you are in charge of setting it up it's hard not to get some sort of adrenaline rush at 7 am. As far as rebounding on sunday, pm block tore signs down and the ends where event items were stayed put since they were still gift giving related. My am block did a k–ler job rebounding. We did 475k when we probably shouldve done like 225k on a normal Saturday. You have to have the right people in the right jobs.

Most clubs did double their normal sales, so at least the members found it exciting. This is crazy, but your job is to sell sh–. Maybe you need to find something else.
My club didn’t unload any trucks on event day. We got lucky and had one truck that day. Usually it’s 2 dc trucks plus a water and paper. One good thing about the event is it cleared out the steel a lot.
