I took the eisp...so yes, I’ll get the 1/2 off....both of them! Might go to a wireless store and ask all of the salespeople to show me how my iPhone works...without buying anything.
We were told no 1/2 day for Christmas, but yes for New Years
We are getting breakfast from the 2nd liner in construction..we haven't had breakfast from the company in like 15 years or so , wonder why they are trying to be nice to us that's not normal here in the northeast..

My department got an email saying we get 1/2 day Christmas Eve.
Wireline business we will be working half day get paid for full day that Brooklyn 395 flatbush ext merry christmas
For us the half day on Christmas eve ended 10-15 years ago.
Sometimes we get an email saying we can leave at 3:30 before a holiday. Depends on the business unit

Religious holidays are no longer recognized as they make some people feel icky.
Can’t have that, everyone needs to be sunshine happy all the time.
Work until 5. Then you can go. Mentioning the holiday is grounds for immediate disciplinary action.
You must be new. It is usually chaotic that day. Kids running around - food everywhere. People slowly leave the building by noon.
