Is today the last day of layoffs or they will continue until end of the week?

Stocks in the c-apper today. Expect more cuts to follow. And you don't want to be the one left here to do all the work either.
Revenue down and expenses up, more through out the year.
Layoffs are not done. Once again BNY missed earnings this morning. “Although we continue to be negatively impacted by lower rates, a flat yield curve, and low foreign exchange volatility, we remain intensely focused on carefully managing costs”. We are investing in technology to streamline processes & cut costs. We are staying the course. So of course there will be layoffs. This is not hard to decipher. Good Luck!
I left BNY almost a year ago but have stayed in touch with a few folks. Most have left but a few that were approaching retirement were laid-off this week at Grant St. in Pittsburgh. Some had raised their hands and said "please me" others didn't and were still let go. I'm told the number was somewhere around 10 but there may be more. I miss absolutely nothing about this place.
Layoffs are not ending anytime soon. Wait until earnings report tomorrow. Read what our interim CEO says. The plan is still moving along: Streamline as many processes as possible, cut expenses, close, sell, combine locations, etc. This is not ending any time soon. Good Luck to All!
Lay-off is done, what can they do! Most of the smarter ones made their way out. AND it’s impossible to get L1 and H1 these days, so have fun and peace of mind those who survive.
India and Poland locations growing. The rest are on the list. If not this week, eventually. No sense talking about it.
Several laid off today in a West coast office.
For now... Pattern is same as last year
