Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Walmartiest story of the day....

Club manager comes in overnight to check up on progress of store reset and misplaces his keys. Member finds them and turns them in the next day. Entire building has to be re-keyed so locksmith is called out, does job, and leaves new keys with closing manager, who promptly closes office door and doesn't realize it till a half hour later when receiving guy calls and says he has Coke in the door and can't open any of the dock doors because his keys don't work. Locksmith left an hour ago....

How do you think this one played out?!?

Walmart is an adjective, folks, not just a company name.

It’s called use a crowbar to pop the door open to the office! I knew we had some mo–ns working for this company but let’s use some common sense people. The framework in these buildings are cookie-cutter. A crowbar is enough to flex the doorframe to pop the door open.

Sadly, when I was a DM of another company, I had a Manager do this. Refused the truck, paid the fine, had to get another locksmith to come out and pay an emergency fee due to the time of night. I had to be notified and notify corresponding LP. Basically, the manager got a coaching for costing the company many and I had terminated the manager who had lost their keys causing the initial rekey. Bad situation for everyone involved.
