IDR - Internal Dispute Resolution Process

Has anyone been through the IDR process to dispute their CAP? If so, what was the outcome? Trying to figure out if I should use my time and energy to fight it or to find a new job...

I was put on CAP in October without being written up. I reached out to the local HR but they were deaf to my call and blind to my email. The irony is I was not given any chance at all despite the fact that I received Bravo point. I knew that there were other people who are in violation of work ethics but nothing has been done.
The company is a good place to work but some leaders are awful and horrible.

I lost my sh– and quit- I am a care advocate. Started working with a bunch of longtimers. I never fit in and my manager was in name only- to say that she was unsupportive or unhelpful would be putting it mildly. What do these gen. mangers do anyway between vacations? LOL Not to mention, these longtime employees, barely eeking out 50% of their day on business time? My gen. Manager being so careless, actually showed my co-workers back office screen two days in a row! He worked for maybe 3 hours and the rest of his day ???? The guy is still skating with a low caseload ( D.C. ) because the gen. Manager protects this lazy guy for some reason??? Meanwhile, the team lead , who managed to rub together her good brain cells, “took his word” for his case count every day. There is no manager, all of the long timers do whatever they want and treated me like c-ap and hot away with it until they they finally pushed me out. That also happed to be the same day I stood up for myself and said “No.” I applied their rule they ignored it. So I quit.

I am proud to say that I did IDR and I can tell you all about it. First, always submit your position in a detailed fashion in writing. You cannot have a witness. You cannot have a lawyer. Someone from Upper Management will listen and say nothing. Someone from HR will be on the call and then will leave. This will make what you say a He Said - She Said with Upper Management then stating that You are a Lowly Waste of Time. Management will then consult with Legal and will craft a False Narrative that can stand up in Court. 90 days later a copy of the Management report will be emailed to you. Exactly 180 days later, you will be laid off via position elimination with your supervisor talking and the management rep from the IDR listening. That call is being taped. Make sure to tape the IDR. Make sure to get Upper Management to talk on the final call. Knowledge is Power. Good Luck. Did you know that Elizabeth Holmes, the Founder of Theranos, has something in common with Stephen Hemsley. Hemsley was Enron’s Accountant and Holmes’ Father was Vice President of Enron. Small World filled with Small and Evil People.

Did you sign/acknowledge the CAP when it was given? IDR will be hard to prove if you acknowledged the CAP without comments/rebuttal?

Like people have said, spend time looking for another job, or fix what they outlined on your CAP. The IDR will only distract you from achieving the other two. What level CAP is this anyway? 1 2 or 3? If you are beyond 1, and IDR isn't going to help you anyway.

IDR's can be effective if your supervisor isn't following protocol or is being biased toward you and you are able to prove it. Also depends on your manager. Luckily, my manager believed me when I opened my IDR since other people complained about the same thing with this supervisor, and the supervisor was coached for the issue. Beware that you could get backlash from said supervisor once you open the IDR. It really depends on how your supervisor and manager handle the process.. it can be used for good or evil.

IDR is a joke. They only stand up for their managers who lie through their teeth.

You will need to go outside the company. You aren’t eligible for anything when on a cap

@135FEcrj-rcg The only issue I have is my supervisor being a liar.

Forget IDR. Fix what your CAP issue is.

Been through IDR—it is a joke. Recommend putting time and energy in finding new position– that is what I did after going through IDR process. Good luck!
