Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Bonuses

Can they keep our bonuses if we get laid off before they come out even if you worked the entire year and earned it? I realize they are not guaranteed but if there are bonuses will a RIF take them away

I was given notice today 2/6 and am getting severance and bonus. Guess I feel lucky?

they change the rules all the time so I wouldn't be surprised if they try to not pay it out rrp. if you are a part of the layoff, make sure you ask about your payout info for rrp and get it in writing.

The policy on the HUB states you must be employed after January 1st to receive the bonus. I was laid off effective January 2nd I will receive my bonus (not expecting much) I have this in writing!

You can research this information on the Hub but I believe you need to be on the active payroll at the time bonuses are paid out (~2/21) to be eligible for RRP.

They make sure for you to know that you are not entitled to anything. Do you know that departments are required to identify 30% of staff who will NOT receive a bonus even if management determines that their whole group did a great job in meeting goals. Right off the bat they do not care what you do in your job, nearly a third will get the shaft. You actually think you will get anything if your RIF'd? LOL Big Negative there. Zip zilch nada.

I was rif’d last day was 1/2. No rrp ever after working the entire year. You’ll get nothing.

If you are getting let go then your leadership has already made sure you aren’t getting rrp
