I have worked for this company for 15 years. I had never had a bad review, was never placed on a performance plan. New management from First data came in and fired 3 people from my group on the same day citing performance issues. When asked for documentation there was no response from the manager nor HR representative on the phone. Seems that they are coming up with reasons to get rid of people to avoid paying severance.
My colleague who was also fired on the same day had worked for the company longer than I have even been alive. Odd how someone who worked for the company for so long and received many awards somehow has performance issues.
