Our pitch will be, "Thank you for calling Verizon wireless, my name is blah blah, before we get started can I interest you in opening a Verizon Credit Card?" And if we don't we will be coached ... Most likely will be on our PA... Just another thing to add to the list: Disney, Verizon Up, My offers, Step Ups, Insurance adds, Call filter, VZ protect... What did I miss?? No wonder the long hold times!

Where my Amazon Visa gives me 5% cash back for Amazon purchases, the Verlieson card will tack on a 5% surcharge for all purchases because they think their customers should pay more simply because its Verizon. Since Americans are dopes with it comes to personal finance many will sign up just as many sign up for the rip off cell phone service.
The time has come for Verizon to get into as many business and partnerships possible. Every little bit will help slow down the process. But titanic will sink and only a few will survive.
