Dell will not be selling anything now that credit markets have seized up. The RSA deal might even fall apart.

Economic winter is coming for everyone.

Layed off all Support for Dell Honeywell over 40 of us from Nashville. No severance or any bonus pay out yet they want us to stay until last day but no one knows the date. Way to go Dell!

Has anybody checked Virtustream’s sell-by date?

Dell announces earnings for Q4 next week. You can bet some of Michael Dell's pile of dough that they want to clear the decks of any unwanted corporate baggage by then, to put losses behind them. RSA is a bigger name with more brand equity than lowly Virtustream.

If there is no announcement on Virtustream by next week, it is likely that they have failed to find a buyer. I would not be surprised if Dell tried to throw Virtustream in with RSA but the private equity guys said no.

Boomi probably. Growth has stuttered over the last few months and they cant seem to keep key people in role for long. A lot of the x-Quest people landed in Boomi and I've seen a few key members leave recently either outside of Dell or within Dell... All the hype around the product has quietened down...
