Southern Pacific region. We got all new cameras. The low voltage tech installing them told me they record 365° and also record audio. High enough definition they can read nametags

There are still some stores without cameras. I am not kidding.

We have camera audits done as part of loss prevention audits. Since the store opened they tell us our cameras do not record for a long enough duration. They point out that we are missing cameras in key areas. Nothing has ever changed as a result of these audits. We have the same cameras in the same places since the store opening. All the employees and some of the local thieves know 90% of the store is not covered.

Former many year SSI here. Only time I ran into that was to make sure key areas were in view, and check that all equipment was functioning a few years ago when they were reviewing security in general in the region. WFM generally focuses on the two D's, doors and dollars. They want working cameras on those areas first, aisles for slip & fall incidents after that. Older stores may still have older equipment, like analog. They may be upgrading.
