people were let go today and the rest will be in July. Majority of the employees are from the Katella Building in Cypress 3rd floor. So sad for all the layoffs. We were told that they will be lots more job openings but those jobs will only be offered to people in Ireland.

I was laid off today. Thank goodness I received my severance which included my time with PacifiCare/FHP. I heard United was only paying for severance on the date they acquired the company thank goodness it wasn't.
They let go of all the people who did not get a raise and kept the people who got raises. Our team got 2% or less in raises. They let go of a lot of good people with lots of knowledge of the business. The employees were told their last day was on March 4th. But they can sign off for the remainder of the time.
Jobs are going to Ireland, India and the Philippines. Eventually there will be a skeleton crew of Americans workers for UnitedHealth Group.
