This was Steve Hemsley’s goal. It should not come as a surprise to anyone. They have in conversations with the NHS for over 4 years.
This was decided via Brexit trade deal. Pretty sure this is happening
The NHS has outsourced since its inception, this is all about economics as opposed to any form of privatisation. The NHS is THE British religion and will never be privatized. Ever.
The reason the total cost of (lifetime) healthcare for any British subject is a mere 11% of their income is because the NHS utilizes world wide services to obtain knowledge and resources - that way they have been well tested and proven to work. That is why it is the best healthcare provider in the world.
Americans are s—ers for believing private healthcare is the way forward yet dont realize that system is the socialized healthcare systems testing ground. It's a win, win situation...why invest billions individually when rich Americans will do it for them (and poor Americans are Americas problem)?
Lots of posts inferring the ethical and moral integrity of UHG has been lost...thing is it was never there in the first place. It's a money making machine and for those of us who work there it's all about making hay while the sun shines. Layoffs are harsh but it's never unexpected in the capitalist model. Harsh as it is we just have to s— it up.
