Anyone know if managers can actually still give points to associates who call out during inclement weather? Its currently snowing, our city isnt used to nor prepared for snow. Our GM is threatening everyone who is debating calling out saying if you dont show up you get a point. It's never been the case for inclement weather callouts.

How about plan on going to work and not plan on calling off? Get up an hour earlier, shovel the driveway, start your car then if you have to drive 10mph to get to work safely. Guess what, the club is open and members still shop on snowy days!
We as in managers don’t give the Occurrences not called points the system does we just simply approve or unapprove them
read attendance policy, they can not hold you accountable
So if it's flooded, leave 30 min earlier and swim your butt to work or better yet take your kayak I'm sure this person can't get to work because their snowed in. Take pics and don't let them hold it against you.
Not sure about your state, but in Ohio, if the state has declared a level 3 snow emergency, then they can't hold it against you.
Legally, your employer cannot hold a call off against you due to weather.
That’s why you save your ppto
How bout leave for work a half hour earlier. Who thinks this is problem solved, and who thinks it's not. Up or down.
