Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Verizon Hilliard Building could be for sale soon

Multiple commercial real estate company’s are in current talks with Verizon about the Hilliard Verizon building at 5000 Britton Parkway.

I am not sure if this is to lease the unused part(s) of the building or to sale completely. However these talks are currently happening despite their no plans to sale media remarks. According to person I know with knowledge of this situation, nothing has been finalized yet.

Wanted to let people remaining know or those who are HBA and depending on Hilliard to remain a hub.

From what I understand is the building will be cleared out eventually and as far as HBA a local store could be used as a Hub for HBA as it is, in another location. They do own the building and it's been rumored that Amazon has interest as the data center is next door. I could also see other local businesses having interest as they have expanded or outgrown their operations.

Veriz0n does own tha buildin in Hilliard Ohio. that is a confirmed fact even from leadaship. maybe they r trying to sale the Hilliard building to buy from new owner? There is barely anyone left in the building including no call center operations sooooo everyone is suspicious their going to keep it open.

Kitchen is rumored to close in December.

Verizon doesn’t own any of the call centers we lease them. My call center’s building has been for sale by the owner since I started working here in 2006.
