Sounds like a lot of Honeywellers got their packages today – small office in Canada saw an entire software development group laid off. People in India will pick up the responsibilities.
Hearing that if you don't live and work in one of the sixteen geographically-located "hubs" or Centres of Excellence (e.g Atlanta, Houston) you are now a FORMER Honeyweller.

MP set to lay off as covid impacts Charlotte move. HBT and Corp IT moving to Bangalore. Some already here temporary visas to put plan in motion as plants to be focal on knowledge and process.
Anything going on in Northford, CT?
Hub locations depend on the SBG or CORP functions
Example. AERO hub in Phoenix but not for SPS, HBT or PMT
CORP hub in Morris Plains (for now) but moving to Charlotte
The HUB location depends on what part of Honeywell you work for.
And I have asked my boss and HR for a list of hubs to see if I am at risk and they continue to say “ we will get back to you”. I have been asking for over 9 months
@OP I question you mentioning Houston as a hub when Houston wheels and brakes closure has already been announced.

You guys deserve it either way. You chose to work for Donkey well and now you are complaining. To what purpose. Either put up or shut up and drive on. You don't like it, then pack up and leave. No one is holding you back. Either you become the manager or buy a company and create your own policies and eat the consequences.

You reap what you sow and you deserve what you get. If you're stuck in Donkey-well then it means that you're as useless as it gets because no one else wants you. You are just undesirable and hence you are complaining.
Look at the booming Honeywell stock price. It is a superb indicator of Honeywell cheapness and productivity.
Can you disclose the city where the Canada team was located?
That makes total sense that they wouldn’t want people in Canada to work for Honeywell since it is not geographically close. India is much closer, correct?
