Anybody aware of upcoming layoffs? The last date I heard was possibly 2/28.

I would have never imagined that BofA clod would fail. Who wouldn’t want to use a proprietary home grown editor, with its home grown dB, integrated version control system based on last century’s tech?
There was a layoff of support staff in GTO - GBAMT-ERFT-CTO ( PMO, COOs, project mangers) end of Feb/Beginning of March. Equities Tech has been hit. Last BofA quarter was disappointing. Moynihan is not happy with internal cloud costs and will now explore purchasing cloud from vendors like AWS and Azure. So CTO Boville is out. Internal Cloud was Bessan't big bet, so now Cathys tech strategy has been a failure. She is now on a cost cutting spree, trying consolidate functions, and by doing so trying to cut as many redundancies as possible. This is why Boville has not been replaced, but rather the CTO split b/w Bhasin and Reilly. It is now open season on CTO staff to be reduced. It will be a very toxic environment in Tech.
I pray everyday that it's my turn!
It is so good on the other side of a layoff... SO good... the sun is shining even when it is raining... I hate it for anybody who is still there.
GTO. The whole country.
Where? LOB and location
There are some happening today.
Pathetic!
Lay-off on 2/28 is a likely move because on 3/1 that’s when the 401k 2-3% match gets added to everyone’s account.
No. If it happens it happens. Too much other c-ap going on at the office I'm at to worry about it. If it happens an i get a package I'm out the door. I'm terminal in my current job anyway.
