Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Well...WAH rumors are true.

We are being pulled this morning to make a decision whether or not we want to stay WAH or go back into the office. If we decide to stay WAH our home office sites will be changing. This is for the Roanoke, VA site. If we choose to stay WAH we will be under the Greensboro site. No idea when these changes will take place, they just have to have an answer by end of day.
Lots of changes going on with no clear direction as to what is really going on. Changing names, changing managers. Not hiring but supervisors have been in interviews for weeks now. UHC is treating employees like the second wheel, we need to know what is going on!

Site code state matters if you only are clinical and have a license in just one state and they need you to have a license in another possibly? Cheating kinda maybe?

The fact they're changing your home office state I'd document and keep documenting going fwd. They are aligning you to a bigger office for a reason, and that reason probably doesn't help you.

I'd be concerned on them moving your site code state. Sounds like an effort to lump you under a bigger office instead of dealing with your immediate office. Did anyone ask? you're basically saying you're ok showing as a NC employee vs a VA one.

If moving from a Telecommuter status to In Office status means that you'll still have a job, then do what you need to do. In the meantime, update your resume and start looking for a new job.
