What about everyone else is having a meeting except us? How can they do that?
Probably going to close some pharmacies and optical depts and send their customers to Walmart.
I don’t know who posted manager raises $65,000 but they would not hand out a raise that high, the company is trying to cut payroll expenses. People stop freaking out and speculating, whatever the announcement will be today will be what it is, you can’t change what is already in the works. Their is life after Sams Club and yes it is stressful to think someone is going to lose their job but hey if you are motivated and do a great job everyday then why panic, there are other companies out there looking for talented people who are dedicated
1pm meeting tomorrow for us in the west
Any Manager with a improvement needed evaluation and has 2 Disciplinary actions will be the first to go. They will eliminate one manager from every club, next year fresh goes to one manager. Team leads will need to step up their performance or look for another job as things change.
If you are a tl and didn't get the raise it's because you already made over the position minimum. So you were overpaid for what you were doing. And with that attitude you are still probably a poor leader.
Team leads in our market open and close the clubs. Managers come in around 6am and leave around 10pm.
This TL did not get a raise. Only more responsibilities.
Will those displaced be allowed to stay on the job until they find another or will they be on paid leave
They are eliminating manager positions to pay for the other manager raises to $65,000.

Well it looks like they're shaking things up again. Word is one or maybe two managers will be displaced and responsibilities will be reassigned. Also managers will be getting a financial increase in their pay, Clubs will now run with 4-5 assistances and a CM
Time to start using those high paid Leads to open and close the clubs.
If anyone should be let go manager wise it should be one of the fresh managers.
Front end needs all the help they can get.
Another sad day for Sam's associates & many hard working managers that what "HO" determined were get paid too much money. Fraud write ups & evaluations is what many have gotten for your longterm loyalty to a business thay has lost the people side. Future is not good for us.

I understand removing a front end manager but they are adding market managers. One of the front end managers is only over marketing and maintenance and pm cashiers.
I have heard one front end Manger my market manger did a bunch of moving around of mangers right before the holidays
Was just told that one manager position is getting Eliminated. Will find out later today on what position and how the determine who gets moved into what role.
