Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Grass IS Greener

I left about a year and a half ago. My time and effort are actually rewarded where I am now. I should have left a long time ago. You can have happiness. It does exist.

YES! I was laid off in 2017 and it was the best thing that ever happened for me and my family!

I left last year too and it was the BEST CHOICE I could have made for myself. I wouldn’t go back if I could.

Something is wrong with a company where 50%( fact) of its employees would not recommend Verizon as a place to work to friends or family. Having employee appreciation parties and stuff like that is not going to change anything. Nobody cares about the fluff. What they care about is fair quotas ( that can be adjusted based on coronavirus inventory levels) fair and unbiased raise communication ( there should be a clear and set standard for raises) dress code ( if 90% of employees are not happy wearing blue denim shirts then fix it and have employees vote on the next style and change it, probably the easiest thing to fix with employee morale but they ignore it)
