WTF: My stocks expired after 3 months of leaving

S**t I had few O stocks and when I am checking it now in fidelity they are showing as all stocks expired :(. At least they should have send me an email alert that they are going to expire. O is great in taking things back :D

That's normal. You should have read about what the limitations were. Things only vest when you are with the company. They aren't giving stuff away for free!

I dumped all ORCL options and vested RSUs last year at $57 a share and I sleep like a baby. Money was reinvested elsewhere much more profitably. If RIF’ed tomorrow I would laugh, say thanks for the memories, and cash my severance check the same day.

Were these vested stocks? RSU vested stocks are yours.

Unvested stocks expire when you leave...

They do warn you on your last day and also send email reminders.

Do you mean you had options expire? Shares do not expire.
