Great question, why is wireless being impacted or SD-WAN ??? What's the plan?
CX was impacted. A manager sent out an email to employees stating that the team had been impacted, and that they would not be sharing specific numbers for Cisco, the BU, or teams within the BU.
I thought Meraki Wireless was the place to be. Why are people being be chopped in that BU?

I posted at uar+13HrqBRZ , I wanted to add, I wish all new hires and prospective candidates can see the non sense that prevails company wide there and they just have a downfall, Vs naive people who join them with hopes and get their careers ruined
How do you know is 1.7k employees being fired?
Every time I see all this, reminds me of my time at Cisco. I feel ashamed of myself of even being there for many years. I quit on my own but I wish I had gotten a package too from that rotten hell hole. SP is one of the worst BU to be in. Arrogant directors, rampant politics, full of non sense.

I did get my 30 day notice from my manager today, with an invite out of the blue so, you guys may be in the same situation.

no 1:1 out of blue is any good, just s— it up and move on, everyone I know who left cisco is now earning alot more, but one problem, you have to actually do work now, its sobering.....I miss the days of just telling my boss he's awesome and then going back to waxing my porsche, live on linkedin but dont jump on first contract job, thats worse than being unemployed.

Me and my buddy got 1:1 invites too for today. I guess it is the end of the road.
I wonder if Chuck is still bragging about the stock. A stock which was driven up by a broader market rally. Cisco is the new HP/IBM and all the c-ap companies they bought over the years. Stock buy backs and layoffs are the innovations at Cisco today.

it's either an invite to discuss your severance package, or an invite to discuss the people impacted by the layoff
