Is Cisco selling ACI left & right ? Why there is need for LR ? What am I missing here besides a brain ?

Less than 5 percent of ACI “customers” actually use ACI (contracts, et al.)
The majority of the customers actually running it were discounted heavily to provide AS for free.
Anyone dumb enough to try it any other way gets a free CAP case.
If aci is this bad that’s scary. It’s supposedly a key part of their “architectural” based selling model.

ACI s—s. We bought the leaf spine hardware but not the controllers.
Probably more customers removing ACI than new ones installing it. This was the last big thing from the MPLS team, and they are long gone (all at Pensando now trying to sell you some fancy NIC offload chipset for servers).
