A question from an old ex-Honeywell employee from a site nowhere near there, is any remnant of the old Bendix Teterboro (sp?) plant part of what is now Morris Plains? Whatever happened to that site? Decades ago I had a job opportunity/offer with that Bendix plant but turned it down.
Who owns the building now.
From the grapevine...Everyone in MP will soon be squished up together on one floor or one and a half floors. MP is still a corporate hub for certain functions, Gradually bit by bit be told to go to hubs or go home starting in second half of 2020 and continuing through 2021 at least. Each day it seems that there are a few less people here overall. This is all just rumors I have been hearing.
The building was already sold months ago.. They’re consolidating what’s left of us to one floor until they eventually get rid of us all in mp (that is the question- when?).. . we are the lessee now
Honeywell is leasing one of the floors to external companies. They are working on a few deals. Or either way they might sell the building? The question is, will PMT be sold off. I was told PMT is not doing well. There are not many corp people in MP. Any ideas?
Will MP continue to be the HQ for PMT? Heard some HBT, Corp people sitting in MP were let go
Heard there was an announcement today at noon. Any word on what it was. Home sick today.
What’s going on in MP usually doesn’t stay in MP
MP is only a CORP IT hub until the new corporate HQ is built in Charlotte
Expect MP to shut down over several years starting in 2022
Other corporate functions will also need to move to Charlotte not just IT
Heard rumors that Smithfield RI had an entire engineering team layed off. 10+ people let go, more headcount reductions planned.
Haven’t heard of any in MP yet. Some happened today in IT for those not in a hub. How much longer will MP be a “hub” for anyone in Corp??
