I managed a project this last year that saved the company Millions in year one. Many more Millions over time. As a thank you I received my walking papers as well as other people. It impacts your motivation, shakes you work ethic psyche.....makes you question yourself and the ethic of work hard and get rewarded, even moving into a new company. The crazy thing is that they had the company employee survey just before they let everyone go. Methodical, yes! Integrity, No.....very sad. Investors with a conscience should take note. Integrity is supposed to be a core value for this company. I will land on my feet... but this behavior leaves a scars..... on those that remain and those that were let go. All the work that the company has done to change the culture, has just taken the employees mood elevator to the basement ! Good Luck everyone ...One elevator door closes and another one opens (the one that goes up, not down)

No sympathy. You worked for a criminal outfit that profits from the misery of people who are sick and dying. Your wonderful project that "saved the company Millions in year one" just meant that the criminal CEO and executives got more bonus. And you see what you got.
Stop being stupid. A job is not promised to anyone and your value is only needed today. Tomorrow is not promised. Be thankful for what you’ve learned, the pay you received and take skills some where else. Gripping doesn’t change current state.

Wasn't looking for sympathy, sweetie! I am very optimistic that the best is yet to come for me, and the other folks that were let go. I worked with the intent of helping people live healthier lives. I have integrity and hope for others. I can't tell you the intent of the peeps I worked for, if it was with malice or greed that I was let go. I just know that there are so many awesome, hard working, and incredibly passionate people that worked for, and still work for the company. I wish the best to all and we will land on our feet, if we want to.
