Top Secret
Cisco employees are immune to corona virus cuz we been drinking too much Cisco KoolAid. Please don't tell employees from other companies, let them die off due to corona virus then Cisco can takeover market share and become the #1 IT company.

Again with 3 day old stats...

Hey Chicken Little.

How about posting your superior "up-to-the-minute" statistical data. I am sure that your resources are far more useful than data directly from the CDC.

Totally ignore the 20,000 US deaths this flu season.

Focus on the 39 from covid-19.

It's all math. The fatality rate from the flu is 0.1%, or 10 out of every 10,000.
The fatality rate, based on 39 out of 1,000 is 3.9% or 30 times as much. Globally, they're saying the fatality rate is 10 times that of the flu, or 1%. Based on the low numbers of testing performed in the US, I'd guess our infection rate is much higher than 1,000 bringing our fatality rates back in line with the rest of the world.

Once a vaccine is produced for COVID-19, it will lose the media attention just like the flu.

Coronavirus dies out within seconds in hot/warm environments. That's why India/Africa and other tropical regions are not experiencing outbreaks of this virus. Look at Italy, the north side is cooler/colder as compared to the southern part of Italy. So far, less outbreaks haven been reported in South Italy.
Hehehehe, Cisco Software Engineer is my job title but I can talk about health issues too, not just coding in C/C++ all day.

The overreaction to Coronavirus is not "clinical". It's a "narrative."

Based on fear.

No Corona viruses that affect humans have had a vaccine made till date. One does simply compare flu and Coronas.

Yeah, what do those guys at JOHNS HOPKINS know about comparisons of viruses...

No Corona viruses that affect humans have had a vaccine made till date. One does simply compare flu and Coronas. As one does not compare apples and oranges.

If you want to encourage people to keep their spirits up then say so. Don’t throw random unrelated information out there.

Predictions for the week March 9th - March 15th.

  1. Italy will succumb to mass panic and local anarchy, with a massive increase in crime in the North, mass casualty in North from collapsed healthcare system, unless Martial Law is not implemented by March 10th. across entire country.
  1. France and Germany will reach the current situation in Italy : multiple hospitals over the limit, spread panic buying, lock-downs.
  1. Spain will be almost in the same situation as France and Germany.
  1. Millions of eastern-Europeans will flee Italy, France, Germany and Spain back to their home countries, accelerating the spread of the virus in Eastern Europe, which would be about 2 weeks behind Italy otherwise.
  1. Thousands upon thousands of businesses will close across Europe.
  1. UK will explode in cases, quickly closing the gap between them and France/Germany, triggering spread panic buying.
  1. European continent will be on the brink of collapse by next Sunday, if not starting to collapse. It will be a fast collapse. Once it starts, in 2-3 days it will totally collapse, unless Martial Law is not implemented across Europe.
  1. The U.S. will surpass 6,000 confirmed cases next week. Panic buying will intensify and it will be much more spread.

The Western countries, unless Martial Law is not implemented in ALL of Europe next week, and U.S. the week after, will collapse.

Anarchy, mass protests, civil wars are IMMINENT in Europe.

I don't even want to think what the U.S. will experience after March 21th.
