This response did not age well:

Why is this different from the flu? Yes, worse for elderly and chronic ill. But beyond that? Business as usual.

Somebody’s trying to find excuses for why the Anti America Globalism agenda didn’t work. Open your eyes. Nobody’s buying it but nice try though.

My guess is that sick/disability time will increase at the associate level.

It’s going to get bad, really fast. I think union workers should be able to take their work trucks home to prevent spreading disease to coworkers.

Call Centers will be put on mandatory HBA, and Retail locations will have constrained inventory. It’s going to be a mess.

This will help to expedite and justify the closing of stores.

True

Customers are selfish and will come into the store knowing they are sick

I work in a store.

It's bad.

Sick people come all the time.

We are all hourly and need $ to survive.

If they close our store not sure what to do.

Front line retail will be hit hard. Customers are selfish and will come into the store knowing they are sick. Taking bill payments, assisting resetting Apple ID, Facebook, and email passwords are going to infect many employees and by extension their own family’s.

I don’t see much changing, we’re still going to be wiring up fiber circuits. There may be even more demand.

I think the biggest impact is that more people will choose to work from home.

In some cases where there is razor thin flexibility in staffing (stores, project team members) there could be significant impact. The risk is not just that the employee will get it, but that they may have to step in to take care of family members that get it.

I think Verizon should start slamming Corona beers at their stores. Free Corona beer with every GG! Because growth is king right DM's?
