I must admit, video and screen sharing in Microsoft Teams is actually very slick.

And WebEx outages are the result.

I've used both Zoom and Webex. Maybe it's what you used first, but Zoom s—s compared to Webex in my opinion. I had lots of problems around trying to share my screen, see other people's screen and getting some stupid empty square box out of the way with Zoom.

Lately, the meeting controls for Webex have gotten worse. They're in the way when sharing your screen or viewing someone else's.

But, more importantly, was Zoom's local webserver vulnerability on Macs. I'm glad I never ran Zoom on my personal system.

Something to look forward to is working from home safely, for the most part, because our company uses Cisco’s AnyConnect.

I'd rather take my chances with the virus.

Thanks HR and ELT for telling us to cheer on Webex while people were just laid off 4 business days ago and sharing the ‘long and hard journey’ vision. Very aspirational indeed!
