Has UP modified it’s attendance policy or just come to work and spread your germs like normal? Also, will the bathrooms actually be stocked with soap for a change?

is there even soap to wash their hands? most of the depots i've been get half-way cleaned about once a week. especially if it is a little trailer setup at an outlying point. count yourself lucky if there is any toilet paper in that bathroom and if there is soap you've won the lottery. now if there are clean dry paper towels available to dry your hands you better watch your back because you're being setup.
the first case of coronavirus in the field everybody in the depot will have it mark my words. then we'll have a public statement by dumb and dumber in omaha talking bout how concerned they are for the UP family.
They need to get rid of these finger scan clock in stations. I've seen too many guys take a massive sh–hen leave the locker room without ever washing their hands.
IT has it easy
I hope UP tries to act stupid during the outbreak and gets sued.
Exactly! That way you don’t get diagnosed or treated. Right on.
I don’t think the guidance from the cdc said to go see a doctor if you’re sick and seek a note for bed rest to appease a back a– employer. It just said stay home. Follow the CDC guidance everyone.
Yeah right nice try.
Then just follow the policy. The policy doesn’t say you can’t be sick. If you’re legitimately sick, go to your doctor and if under his/her direction you’re to stay home, then stay home. This really isn’t difficult.
BahHaHa. On front page of MyUP we see our EVP human resource officer is in charge of UP pandemic planning efforts. Her very first quote is "if a pandemic occurs ... follow all departmental policies, including attendance policies." You can't make this stuff up. Its comedy gold.
Anyone who has ever taken A dump in a locomotive is immune from coronavirus. Get back to work
A letter was put out to nurse to stay home but that's top secret. Employees have not been advised to this. No concern to have any statement on there website. No relaxed attendance policy so employees are encourage to come to work sick. You would think they could put out a statement to relax there policy till this all blows over and to stay home if you are sick.
Per the CDC, if you are sick during this coronavirus stay home.
Therefore, if UP pulls you out of service during this outbreak feel free to sue them.

i heard they're tasking manager trainees to stand beside you and sing happy birthday to you twice while you wash your hands.
