Anyone know how long it takes to get an interview after you apply for a position?

I applied and literally got an interview the next day. Sam's is probably the worst company on earth in terms of their treatment of employees, thus there's massive turnover CONSTANTLY. There hasn't been a single week that I can recall in the past 2 years at sam's that there hasn't been someone interviewing. Sam's will literally hire anyone with a pulse and if they legally could, people without pulses too. If you're a sociopath like me, you're able to ignore the cesspool of toxicity from your coworkers and (((Members))) and just punch in and out each day and collect your $11/hr paycheck. If you can't handle stress, I would highly recommend against Sam's Club/walmart specifically. Retail in general is absolutely f—ing terrible, but sam's club is literally the worst of the worst.

If you're lucky they won't call you. There ain't a entry level position worse than Sam's.

Not sure what the timing is in the beginning, but I know that it all goes through your email, so make sure you check it daily for prompts. I believe you have to complete an assessment and if you pass the assessment you then choose the date and time of your interview. After the interview, the interviewer will either move you forward or reject you. If moved forward, you then get background checked and in some cases are sent for a d–g screening. If those check out, then you are emailed a job offer, which you can accept or deny. If accepted you will get an orientation date. This process can be a little over a week or up to a month, depending on timing and any issues that arise in the system. We use an outside company for a lot of this process, so snafu's tend to happen sometimes...
